SYMSITES at the 10th Conference of Innovation and Water Engineering at Capernaum

SYMSITES took stage at the 10th Conference of Innovation and Water Engineering, held in Capernaum and organized by the WaterEdge Community. This prestigious event, a highlight of the region’s Water-Tech scene, brought together over 550 professionals from across the water sector – government agencies, water and wastewater facilities, tech companies, researchers, and policymakers.

Our partner, AGRA, a consulting firm, presented SYMSITES on the main stage, focusing on the crucial topic of water and wastewater treatment. The presentation captivated an audience of approximately 100 water industry experts.

The presentation highlighted SYMSITES’ innovative approach to co-treatment optimization design from multiple streams.  We showcased the high value materials produced by the project and their successful implementation across four Eco-sites.  Attendees learned about the significant benefits SYMSITES offers, including a reduction in energy and area footprint, as well as the economic added value derived from promising new resources. These resources include PHA bio-plastics, bio-hydrogen, and Ammonium sulfate fertilizer.  Importantly, SYMSITES addresses key targets set by EU regulation for the coming years.

The conference provided a valuable platform to connect with key stakeholders and explore potential collaborations. We believe that SYMSITES can contribute significantly to addressing water challenges and promoting sustainable water management practices.
